Walk around any city or any town. Everywhere you go you will see buildings going up and coming down. A constant churn of old and new.
In recent years a proliferation of signs, adverts, hoardings - both in the landscape and in print, everywhere you look. Luxury flats - as if we need more of these, urban villages - if there ever were such a thing, a constant flux of marketing speak, glossy architect's imaginings and promised social housing that never materialises. Entire areas transformed, with much promised but little delivered - housing as investment, humanity's basic needs transformed into commodity.
